We would like to communicate with you today from Mikel & Pintxo: to all sports and outdoors’ activities lovers. We know we rock it with pintxos and tapas but it doesn’t mean we know nothing about other subjects, like cycling in Playa de Palma, for instance.
We wanted to change the focus and we bring you today something really new: some cycle route in Playa de Palma. Itineraries we have prepared in this occasion are average difficulty. Despite this, some of them require additional effort and other routes are not so but your determination will make it happen. And bear in mind the list of new places you are about to know. These routes are not the same as driving a car.
Medium difficulty cycle route in Playa de Palma
Mikel & Pintxo – Santuario de Cura: all good riders must reach once in their live this sanctuary (shrine) in Algaida. We depart from our tapas’ restaurant in Palma and start through the coast. By reaching Club Nautico we will bike towards MA-6020 road direction Llucmajor. We will use road MA-5010. We will take the route to Randa and will start to climb the slope towards Santuario de Cura. Here you are the route to explore it in detail.
Mikel & Pintxo – Orient: best way to know Serra de Tramuntana, Heritage of Humanity is touring it all over. Our route is from Mikel & Pintxo until Orient through Son Ferriol, Sa Cabaneta, Santa Maria del Camí and Alaró. You will have the chance to tour these nice places in a very different way. If you wish to come back in a different route, try to do it through Bunyola and Son Ferriol. There is no possibility for you to get lost! It is a longer route but worthwhile. Itinerary’s here.
Mikel & Pintxo – S’Estanyol: This is the easiest route to tour Mallorca’s coast. You can bike Cala Blava and Cap Blanc. It is highly recommended to visit the lighthouse and the views. If you continue you’ll find s’Estanyol and will be able to enjoy a nice bath on its calm beaches. You can do the same route or taking the road towards Llucmajor and coming back through the interior route. Consult the route here.
Algaida – Búger – Caimari – Santa Maria del Camí: this is the longest route of this post. You will be able to enjoy the interior part of Mallorca and will fall in love. For sure. Starting from Mikel & Pintxo –as always- we’ll depart towards Sant Jordi. Once in Algaida, we will take Inca’s road, biking until Buger to go reach Campanet. This is just half of the route, but we have to come back! We can do it through Caimari, Mancor de la Valla and then Santa Maria. Then, Sant Jordi and Playa de Palma. Route is here.
This is a real challenge only for daring people. If you are trying any of these itineraries, drop us a message in our social networks to share your experience with all: Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.
